Description
With this precisely fitting spool, you convert your development tank for the 110 format (originally 16mm cine film). It is made of durable technical plastic (PLA+) and resists all common photographic chemicals. The design is optimized for workflow: the spool is designed to split into two halves so you can easily and safely remove the developed film.
Due to the low height of 21 mm, up to 4 of these spools fit into a standard tank, which is usually designed for two 35mm films. Please select the appropriate version for your system above (e.g., Jobo 15xx or Paterson/AP/Kaiser). Quality Made in Germany for your darkroom.
A little tip from practice: Cut the corners of the film strip at a 45-degree angle before loading it into the spool. This allows the film to slide in much more smoothly and prevents it from catching in the guide.
Compatibility
The spool holds film that was exposed with, among others, the following cameras:
- Pentax Auto 110 / Auto 110 Super
- Rollei A110 / E110
- Kodak Pocket Instamatic (e.g., Series 20-60)
- Minolta 110 Zoom SLR (Mk I / Mk II)
- Canon 110 ED / ED 20
- Minox 110 S
- Agfamatic Pocket (e.g., 2008, 4008)
- Fujica Pocket (e.g., 350 Zoom, 400)
- Lomography Lomomatic 110
- Kodak Ektralite & Ektramax
Ideal for 16mm cine film
Did you know that 110 Pocketfilm and 16mm cine film use exactly the same film width (16mm)? If you own a Bolex H16, a Krasnogorsk K-3, an Arriflex 16ST, or another 16mm film camera and want to develop your test strips cost-effectively yourself, our spool is the ideal solution. It is durable and precisely designed for this width.
Important note about Minox 8x11
Please note: This spool is too wide for the Minox format (9.2 mm). We have made a separate, narrower spool for this. You can find the matching version here: Developer spool for Minox 8x11 (SKU 1502b)
Part of the 110 Pocketfilm system
This product is part of our complete 110 ecosystem: cutting film, loading cassettes, developing, and scanning — all from one source.
